Ezra joins the Synteq team effective March 17th, 2025, and brings over 25 years of experience spanning engineering, technology, life sciences, digital assets, and capital markets. Working directly with Synteq’s CEO and CFO, Ezra will be driving the team’s M&A and strategic initiatives and supporting Synteq’s capital formation efforts.
Ezra was most recently a senior investment banker, spearheading digital assets and AI mandates within the growth & innovation team of a leading regional bank-owned investment bank. Ezra offers a valuable perspective on capital markets, shaped by experience within leading boutiques like GMP Securities and large-scale, national and global firms like National Bank Financial and Stifel Nicolaus. Throughout his career, he has worked on numerous domestic and international M&A transactions and has led and successfully managed financings totalling over $1 billion in capital raised.
Ezra holds a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Ivey Business School and is known for his technical understanding across diverse industries and technologies which allows him to provide insightful capital markets, M&A and strategic advice in emerging sectors.
